05/15 – New Repeater: The Tampa Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce the deployment of a new repeater designed to provide reliable coverage throughout south and southeast Hillsborough County, especially for stations operating with lower power or compromise antennas.
The new BridgeCom BDR4550 UHF FM/DMR-capable repeater operates on 443.025 MHz and is located in Ruskin near the junction of I-75 and SR-674. This new system is intended to improve regional coverage and expand access for operators throughout the area. Click here to view details.

06/26 – Field Day: The Tampa Amateur Radio Club is thrilled to invite you to our annual ARRL Field Day, sponsored by the American Radio Relay League. It’s a fantastic opportunity for amateur radio operators and the public to come together and experience the excitement of radio communication firsthand. This 24-hour event begins with setup on Friday morning, June 26th. Operations start at 2:00 PM on Saturday and continue through 2:00 PM on Sunday.
On Saturday evening, TARC will host a Family Dinner that is free for everyone attending. All you need to do is sign up at fd2026.eventbrite.com and let us know how many will be joining us. Click here for more details.
