Station Operation information:

Contest Logging

TARC has standardized on N1MMLogger for its contest logging software.  The reasons are many:  It is a robust program with great support.  It works great with our radios.  It networks and shares content very well.  It works for CW, RTTY, PSK and SSB modes with similar interface.  Its simple to set up.  It comes with presets for quite a few contests… And Its Free!

That last one is one of the best things about the software.  Since its free, you can download your own copy, install it at home, practice and get good with it so that when you come in to the clubhouse to operate a contest, you know what you are doing.

You can get a copy of the program here:

Make sure you read the “Ten Things you should know before operating the software” section of the manual.  While the software is intuitive and easy to learn, reading this information will make it much easier for you  to hit the ground running.

I plan to have a presentation on the program in the first quarter of the year.  I would suggest you also watch the 4 videos for an overview of the program.  You can download the videos from this website by clicking here.

So read the Ten Things sheet, watch the videos and then come down to the Clubhouse and give the program a try!
